 TikTok, one of the most popular social media apps, was almost banned in the United States because of concerns about security and privacy. The app, owned by the Chinese company ByteDance, collects a lot of user data, like location and personal information. The strike had begun on October 29,2024disrupting university education across the country. The lectures were demanding that the government implementation of the CBA , which included a salary raise of 7-10% .They also wanted to defend their pensions, receiver fair pay and have some job security.  The ethics and anti-corruption commission of Kenya have started investigations concerning the recent ksh 1.3 billion  fraud belonging to agricultural development corporation of trans Nzoia county government. The eight prime suspects  have since recorded a statement in the EACC 'S North rift concerning the fraudulance. The six hundred and sixty six acre land worth 1.3 billion  had been transferred illegally as reported by ethics and anti-corruption commission of Kenya EACC.
