Rains are not enough hence some crops wilt due to lack of enough moisture, posing a great Challege to the farmer.

After overcoming all the challenges, crops are healthy and ready for harvesting after drying. 









The crops dry and they are ready for marketing.








A once-thriving farming community relies on agriculture for their livelihood. The fields, rich with fertile fallowed soil rich in nutrients, tell a story of resilience, hope, and connection to the land. Farmers have prepared their land ready to cultivate their land when rain season starts. 

 In planting seasons, farmers start sowing their seeds in the cultivated land while applying manure from livestock. They plough the fields, sow seeds, and pray for a bountiful harvest. 

 Livestock play a vital role in supporting agricultural activities, providing manure and labor. Cattle graze nearby as the farmers prepare for the growing season. 

 The region faces unexpected challenges drought delays crop growth, and pests damage the fields. Farmers struggle to protect their livelihoods. Some engage in measures to counter the draught delay such as drip irrigation.

After months of hard work, farmers harvest their produce and transport some to the market while keeping some mount of produce to consume during dry periods.

 In recent weeks, lecturers had decided to suspend their strike after the government promised to fulfill their demands. However, the period of their agreement has now elapsed, and the government has yet to fulfill its promise to pay salaries on time, along with the additional pay increase they had requested. The strike had begun on October 29,2024disrupting university education across the country. The lectures were demanding that the government implementation of the CBA , which included a salary raise of 7-10% .They also wanted to defend their pensions, receiver fair pay and have some job security. The trike raised concern about quality of education given to students. After The Employment and Labour Relations ordered the two parties to resume negotiations in good faith hence the strike ending on 25 of November 20204.  In  many public universities, learning activities had been suspended, leaving students in a state of uncertainty, with some opting to return home.
