1.3 BILLION FRAUD IN TRANS NZOIA COUNTY

 The ethics and anti-corruption commission of Kenya have started investigations concerning the recent ksh 1.3 billion  fraud belonging to agricultural development corporation of trans Nzoia county government. The eight prime suspects  have since recorded a statement in the EACC 'S North rift concerning the fraudulance.



The six hundred and sixty six acre land worth 1.3 billion  had been transferred illegally as reported by ethics and anti-corruption commission of Kenya EACC. It   has also stated the involvement of senior most officials of transzoia county who turned a blind eye on the fraudulance. They also said that they would make those who were involved face the law .


The ministry of land seemed to have colluded with the corrupt advocates hence issuing blank tittle deeds used for the transfer. The illegal transfer of a of a land belonging to Agricultural Development corporation in Transzoia is a strong setback of  agricultural sector in trans Nzoia county. This being one of the leading producer of Agricultural produce in Kenya, needs a good management and corruption free leadership for better results interms of Agricultural produce in future.,

LECTURE'S STRIKE IN KENYA

 In recent weeks, lecturers had decided to suspend their strike after the government promised to fulfill their demands. However, the period of their agreement has now elapsed, and the government has yet to fulfill its promise to pay salaries on time, along with the additional pay increase they had requested. EXTENSION OF FIRST SEMESTER LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN KIBABII

The strike had begun on October 29,2024disrupting university education across the country. The lectures were demanding that the government implementation of the CBA , which included a salary raise of 7-10% .They also wanted to defend their pensions, receiver fair pay and have some job security.
